Location

The festival will take place in the Golden Forest, a unique experience space next to lake Asveja, which has become the real home of Masters of Calm. Here, the pine trees of the Asveja Regional Park are alive with greenery and fresh air, unexpected and comfortable spaces for learning, sober celebrations and new discoveries are breathtakingly beautiful, and balanced food is a treat for the whole senses.

At any time of the day or night, you’ll find the biggest dream catcher in the Golden Forest (written in the record book), the Giant’s Chair and the Love Trail.

We love animals, but in order to protect the festival grounds, the children, and barefoot and allergy sufferers that roam freely in the meadows, please do not bring your pets to the festival.

Food and water

The ticket price includes 3 meals per day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. You’ll enjoy hot, healthy, hearty and varied (vegetarian or vegan) food. The food distribution will take place at the time scheduled in the programme and will last for one hour, so you are welcome to arrive in time to eat.

We are an eco-friendly organisation, so we ask all participants to bring their own dishes: a plate, a bowl, a cup and a spoon, which can be comfortably washed after the meal in our large dishwashing sink. On the festival grounds, we drink water from taps that are fed by well water. So bring a tap that you can refill at any time.

Hygiene

You will find bio-toilets on the festival grounds. They will be conveniently located in both the sleeping and “action” areas. The festival is known for its very clean toilets, which are bright even after dark.

You can wash your dishes in a large dish sink specially prepared for this purpose, and shower in the WARM outdoor showers built by our benefactors, overlooking the pine tree tops.

For those who want to refresh themselves, the huge and clear lake Asveja will be waiting for you. Please respect the lake and wash without detergents, soaps and shampoos, even if they are eco-products.

Living conditions

The festival will have a separate living area where you can pitch your own tent. Have a tent but don’t know how to pitch it? Our team of do-gooders will be happy to help you! Just ask and they will come to your rescue.

Have a campervan? Great! You can come with it and make yourself at home. We have two campervan pitches available: one is free in the tent city and the VIP campervan area is just outside the festival gates (1 day – 100 Eur, 3 days –  200 EUR, 5 days – 250 EUR, 10 days – 400 EUR.)

If you want to make a reservation, please send an email with the arrival times to [email protected] and wait for news. Important to know: there will be no access to electricity and water at the campervan.

Want to spend the night outside the tent? All the cabins in the Golden Forest are already booked, but please contact [email protected] and we will direct you to the nearby partner homesteads.

Of course, you always have the option of spending the night in a hammock!

Children's Meadow

The Children’s Meadow is the children’s realm of the Masters of Calm Festival!

The day-camp-style space will be run by Whatansu experiential camp supervisors, guest lecturers and child educators, as well as festival volunteers. Your children will not only be safe but also meaningfully occupied: they will be able to engage in outdoor games, ongoing workshops, movement, dance and many other enriching activities. The space will also be equipped with places for independent play: a Hobbit house and a tree house, a net for climbing, and hammocks in case you feel like taking an afternoon nap under the most beautiful pine tree in the forest.

The Children’s Meadow is for children aged 4-12 years but is open to everyone. The day camp is open during the festival lectures. At other times the space is open for children to come and play with their parents.

You can find the programme of the Children’s Meadow here.

Whatansu Jungle

What if you chose a festival instead of a summer camp this year?

Masters of Calm will have a separate programme for teenagers and young adults (13-18 years)! Whatansu Experience Camp supervisors and experienced speakers from Lithuania and abroad will accompany you on an adventure of self and other discoveries.

We will talk about the most important things in the world: about the things you are too shy to ask an adult, about the freedom to be yourself, about love, about anxiety, about relationships with parents and friends, about dreams and choices for the future. We will go on a hike, laugh a lot, make eye contact and make new friends. Don’t doubt it – this will be the best adventure of the summer!
